Tiramisu has lot of versions.I found this recipe in Food network television.I never tasted tiramisu before. For the first time i prepared this and stated also.:-)As far as i know this recipe is the best one i have seen which suits every taste buds.I prepared this for my husband's birthday.

INGREDIENTS:

Mascarpone cheese....2 c
Heavy cream.....1 c
Sugar...1/4 th c
Orange soda.......6tsp
Seed less Straw berry jam.....1 c
Fresh straw berries/raspberries.....1pound
confectioner's sugar...for dusting
vanilla essence.....1tsp

Lady Fingers

METHOD:
  • Mix the jam with some of the orange soda.keep aside.
  • Mix the mascarpone cheese with the other half of the orange soda.
  • Beat th heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until it forms soft peaks.
  • Mix the beaten heavy cream in the mascarpone mixture.
  • Now arrange the lady fingers in one layer in a rectangular wide glass/plastic pan.
  • spread half of the jam mixture on it.Spread the mascarpone and cream mixture on it.
  • Put some straw/rasp berries on it.Arrange the left over lady fingers on top of it and repeat the same process of spreading jam and cream mixture.Arrange some berries on top of it.
  • Cover the pan and refrigerate up to 4 hours or over night.
  • Before serving dust with confectioner's sugar.

I promise this tastes heaven.

NOTE:::Actual recipe calls for Orange liquor.I used the orange frizzante(European soda) which i found at Wegman's in US.U people can use what ever u like .
