Coriander Pachadi
INGREDIENTS:
Coriander Leaves.........2 bunches
Tamarind paste..............1 tsp
Salt....................................as required
Green chilly....................3-4
Oil.....................................4 tbsp
Turmeric..........a pinch
For Tampering:
Red chilly....................2
Urad dall.....................1 tbsp
Chana dal.....................1 tsp
Cumin seeds.................1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds...............1 tsp
Hing...................small block
METHOD:
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil and add chopped coriander leaves.
- Fry them until the color has changed as shown in the picture.
- Remove them from the pan and heat the remaining oil.
- Add the ingredients for tampering.When it is all done switch off the heat.Add the green chilly now to the tampering.The chillies will fry in the oil because it will be hot for sometime.
- When it is cooled grind the coriander leaves and the tampering along with the tamarind,turmeric and the required salt.

That looks wonderful! I've never cooked dal without boiling it. What is the texture like if you fry it?
Swapna, one of my favorite chutneys. Tastes good with pretty much anything, I also like eating it with rice.
Tindoora Ulli Karam looks really tasty. Have to try that too.

just yesterday i saw coriander pachdi in sailu's blog. looks really good swapna.
and i love the music also.
I love this chutney. Some how, I don't like using blender to prepare this. Hence I stopped making it.

We fry dals in tampering.we will grind them along with other ingredients leaving some to mix with the ground paste.The fried dal will be crispy in taste.it will be good when eating.
